Balance Autism Hosts Exclusive Movie Screening: In A Different Key: The Story of Autism

Balance Autism was both honored and thrilled to have the directors and producers of the film, "In A Different Key: The Story of Autism. Based on their book (same title), this documentary shares about both the struggles and triumphs of autism since the beginning. We see glimpses in the life of Donald, the first person ever diagnosed with autism, as well as several other fascinating individuals that teach us about having autism.

We laughed. We cried. We learned. We celebrated. It was truly a night to remember.

Our movie-themed evening was enjoyed by more than 130 parents, professionals, individuals with autism and friends in attendance. Erin Kiernan, WHO 13, also attended and aired a couple of stories about the event.  They can be viewed here and here.
