Balance Autism’s annual plant sale is happening now! The sun is shining, and we are excited to show off this year’s plants and flowers. As we head into the weekend, make a quick visit out to our Campus location and see what we have available.

Now Enrolling for Preschool — Multiple Locations Available!

A Month of Celebration

If we were to describe Autism Month this year in one word, it would be EVENTS! We have been so busy but have also had so much fun engaging with families, community partners, and friends over the past few weeks! Check out some of the highlights below.

Sensory-Friendly Night

We had an incredible night sponsoring the Science Center’s Sensory-Friendly Night this month.  With a bit of late notice to promote the event, we weren’t sure what the turnout would be, but turns out we had to close registrations a day early because we filled up so quickly!

The Science Center of Iowa says, “Shoutout to Balance Autism for sponsoring our Sensory-Friendly Hours last night! We’re so grateful for your partnership and the meaningful work you do for so many families.” We are grateful for this partnership, as well!

  Transition Planning

Last week we were glad to be part of Urbandale High School’s Transition Fair. The event brought together local schools and a range of organizations to support students with IEPs and 504 plans as they prepare for life after graduation.

It was a pleasure to connect with families and share more about Balance Autism, as well as the ways our team is here to support our community now and in the future!  We especially valued the opportunity to connect with key industry players we can count on for referrals.

Jumping for Autism

We had an incredible turn-out for both Urban Air events last week! Thanks to our amazing partners, Get Air Sports  and the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, for helping us create such a joyful experience for families in the autism community.

Thank you to Get Air Trampoline Park Urbandale and Waterloo for hosting our team and families for such fun-filled evenings and for supporting Autism Awareness Month. It’s always a great time!

Walking for Autism

Communicative Disorders Learning

Balance Autism attended the 2026 Iowa Conference on Communicative Disorders (ICCD) last week in Waterloo!

Our team loved connecting with students and attendees while sharing our passion and services. Such an inspiring event advancing speech-language pathology! Thank you, Molly and Kaitlyn, for making the trip to represent Balance Autism!
