Celebrating Juneteenth

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom and a recognition of the enduring strength, culture, and contributions of African Americans. At Balance Autism, we honor this important day by celebrating the diversity of our staff, individuals served, and families. We remain committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, belonging, and opportunity for all.

Happy Father's Day from all of us at Balance Autism!

Today, we celebrate and honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who provide love, support, guidance, and encouragement every day. Your dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of your families and our community.

We wish you a day filled with appreciation, joy, and special moments with those you love. Thank you for all you do.

Happy Father's Day!

A New Place to Call Home

Congratulations to our staff, leadership, and maintenance teams on the successful opening of our second youth community home. This achievement reflects months of planning, collaboration, and dedication, and the positive feedback on the home has been overwhelming.

The home is now welcoming three girls who are settling into their new environment and beginning to establish daily routines. As with any transition, adjusting to a new home can be challenging, especially for kids. Thanks to the commitment and support of our team, these individuals are receiving the care and encouragement they need to feel safe, comfortable, and successful in their new home.

This milestone represents expansion opportunities for children with autism to receive quality support in a nurturing, community-based setting. Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this accomplishment possible.

Congratulations!

We are excited to celebrate a major professional milestone—Nadin, from our Iowa City clinic, has officially earned her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification after successfully passing the board exam!

This achievement reflects countless hours of dedication, hard work, and commitment to supporting the individuals and families we serve. We are proud to have Nadin as part of the Balance Autism team and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make in her new role as a BCBA.

Please join us in congratulating Nadin on this outstanding accomplishment!
