Summer Fun at Campus

This month, campus had some very special guests! 🐐💚

Thanks to our friends at West Homestead Healing Herd, a local nonprofit, we had the joy of welcoming baby goats to campus! A cozy circle fence was set up, and everyone had the chance to feed, pet, and cuddle these sweet visitors. Smiles were everywhere, and this healing herd brought such joy (and cuteness) to our community! 🥰✨

One More Reason to Choose

Balance Autism

Expanding Access to Integrated Preschool Services!

At Balance Autism, we believe every child deserves a strong start in a supportive, inclusive environment. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the expansion of our Integrated Preschool program to a new location —Waterloo!

Already successfully serving families in Clive and the Quad Cities, our Integrated Preschool blends evidence-based practices with enriching early childhood education. This unique model supports both children with autism and their typically developing peers, fostering growth, communication, and school readiness in a nurturing, collaborative setting.

With the addition of our Waterloo location, we’re continuing to build bridges — for families, communities, and brighter futures.

As temperatures rise, it becomes crucial to consider the specific needs of individuals with autism who may face increased vulnerability to heat-related challenges. Many individuals may struggle to recognize when they are uncomfortable, and limited communication can hinder their ability to express their needs. Additionally, their inclination to stick to familiar routines may inadvertently lead to overheating.

Together, we can create a supportive environment that prioritizes their comfort and safety during warmer days.
