Meet Your Regional Director

Lindsay Ward, M.S.Ed., LBA, BCBA

Since her teenage years, Lindsay has been drawn to the power of individualized support. While working in an after-school program as a teen, she quickly realized that creating meaningful, inclusive learning environments—where teaching is tailored to each learner—was her calling. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for helping others reach their goals and contribute to their communities in ways that are meaningful to them.

Lindsay became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2007 and earned her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2011. Her professional journey has included roles as a special education teacher, preschool teacher, and behavior analyst, including international experience working at a specialized K–12 school for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Australia.

For over 20 years, Lindsay has been part of Balance Autism, where she continues to be inspired by the organization’s commitment to highly individualized, community-centered services. She is passionate about ensuring that every person—regardless of age, ability, or needs—has access to meaningful teaching in the way they learn best. This commitment is reflected in every aspect of her work, from program development to direct support.

Lindsay’s areas of expertise include the IEP process, school-based services, early Intervention, and Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions. She also has a strong focus on Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), with an emphasis on performance management and service quality. Her practice is deeply rooted in Verbal Behavior principles and a person-centered, strengths-based approach.

Whether working directly with children, collaborating with families, or mentoring fellow professionals, Lindsay is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized support that empowers people to thrive—on their own terms.
